This little slice of heaven called Drake Bay is located in the southern region of Costa Rica on the Osa Peninsula. Filled with a booming ecosystem and wildlife, any nature lover will feel at home here.
Getting here is an adventure in itself because of it’s remote location. Arrive and depart via boat taxi through the mangroves or by plane using the Drake Bay Airport (pictured below).
There are plenty of activities to keep you busy in Drake Bay. Water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding will fill your day. You can always add on a visit to nearby Cano Island for a longer excursion. In the evening, take a night swim in the ocean for a bio bay tour or locate a guide to take you into the jungle to find nocturnal wildlife.
